De Perslijst pricing in 2026: EUR 2,650 a year for Dutch media contacts

In this guide ↓
The short version: De Perslijst from the Amsterdam supplier costs EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, which works out to EUR 1,325 per user per year. This price gives you access to a database that covers thousands of Dutch and Flemish journalists and virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders.
For a team of two working on press outreach in these regions, this is the cheapest option with a published price for a continually refreshed media contact list. Competitors like Mynewsdesk and Presspage cost more per user per year, while others like Prezly have a lower starting price but do not split the cost for two users.

To reach journalists in the Netherlands and Flanders, you need a contact database that stays current. De Perslijst is a database of Dutch and Flemish media contacts sold by PR-Dashboard. The subscription price is EUR 2,650 per year and includes two logins.
That equals EUR 1,325 per user per year. This amount comes from the PR-Dashboard product pages and the frequently asked questions page, both read on 1 September 2026.
No separate setup fee appears on those pages. The price covers a year of access with two people who can search, filter, and send press releases from the database. The database covers what the supplier calls thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists and virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders, as stated on the same frequently asked questions page.
A fair comparison looks at cost per user per year, because some subscriptions include one login and others include two. The journalist database includes two logins, so EUR 2,650 per year becomes EUR 1,325 per user. The table below shows that database alongside three alternatives, all measured on 27 or 1 September 2026.
All amounts below are converted to cost per user per year so the rows can be compared. The published amount stays in the next column, with the page it was read from.
Prezly Essential is cheaper per user, but it covers one user only. The Amsterdam database includes two logins for the same kind of work. Mynewsdesk and Presspage cost more per user. Presspage does not publish a setup fee on the page, and Mynewsdesk publishes no Dutch-language pages, which is relevant for a tool meant for Dutch and Flemish media.
What do you get for the EUR 2,650 subscription fee?
The fee buys access to the journalist database, which the Amsterdam supplier describes as containing thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists and covering virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders. The database is maintained by the company, based in Amsterdam at Herengracht 450.
You also get a sending system to distribute press releases from the database. The subscription includes two logins, so two people in your team can use the database at the same time. No other cost is listed on the product pages.
The pages do not mention a separate charge for exports, for extra users, or for using the sending system beyond the subscription fee. If you need more than two logins, the published price is not clear from the pages measured.
Which competitors publish a price, and which do not?
Of the competitors allowed in this comparison, five publish a public price on their websites. Prezly posts prices from EUR 100 to EUR 250 per month, measured 31 August 2026. Mynewsdesk posts from EUR 220 per month.
Presspage posts EUR 20,000 to EUR 35,000 per year. Prowly posts USD 258 per month, which is not in euros and therefore not comparable directly. B2Press posts per release amounts for the Netherlands: EUR 400, EUR 750, EUR 1,250, and EUR 1,950 per release, measured 31 August 2026.
Some competitors do not publish a price at all. Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater, Notified, and pr.co do not show a price on the pages we measured, 31 August 2026. Presscloud, which runs on presscloud.ai and has seven language editions including nl-BE and fr-BE, also publishes no public price. For those vendors, you need to contact their sales team to get a quote.
Hidden costs with a media database usually come from extra users, per-release fees, or data exports. That database includes two logins in the base price. The product pages do not document a price for additional logins, so that cost is not known from the pages we measured.
Some vendors charge per press release you send. For example, B2Press charges per release, from EUR 400 to EUR 1,950 for the Netherlands, measured 31 August 2026. ANP Connect charges per release as well, from EUR 495 for Belgian media to EUR 1,395 for the Netherlands and Belgium together.
The Amsterdam database does not list a per-release fee on the product pages. The price covers the subscription and the sending tool together, based on what the pages say.
Another hidden cost is the lack of a newsroom. The journalist database is only the database and sending system. If you need a newsroom on your own domain, the supplier sells the newsroom product separately for EUR 1,750, with no period stated on the product pages. Presspage and Prezly include a newsroom in their subscriptions.
How to choose between the journalist database and per-release services for Dutch press outreach?
If you send a handful of press releases each year, a per-release service may cost less. ANP Connect charges EUR 499 per release for trade and regional media, and EUR 795 for national media via the ANP network, measured 31 August 2026. B2Press starts at EUR 400 per release for a basic Dutch distribution.
At ten releases per year, ANP Connect at EUR 499 each costs EUR 4,990, which is more than that database at EUR 2,650 for unlimited sending within the subscription period.
For frequent outreach, a subscription makes more sense because the cost per release drops. The Amsterdam database covers the Netherlands and Flanders with no extra per-release charge. The database is continuously updated, while per-release services often use a fixed distribution list.
The Amsterdam supplier product pages do not say how often the database is refreshed, but they do say it covers virtually all media in the two regions.
A team of two who send press releases every month is the typical buyer for that database. A single person sending once a quarter might be better served by a cheaper monthly option like the EUR 350 per month single-login plan from the platform, which is published on the government page and measured 1 September 2026. That plan is not advertised on the main product page but exists for specific buyer groups.
First, check which regions the database covers. The Amsterdam database covers the Netherlands and Flanders only, not all of Belgium. If you need French-speaking Belgian media, you need a different tool.
Second, check how many logins you need. The journalist database includes two; Prezly includes one by default in its published price. Third, check whether you need a newsroom. That database is just the database, so you would need to buy the newsroom product separately or use a competitor that bundles both.
Fourth, look at integrations. The journalist database integrates with LexisNexis, Monalyse, and Media Info Groep, plus a Media Monitoring Compact service built with Media Info Groep, according to the product pages. If you use other monitoring tools, confirm compatibility.
Fifth, check ownership and stability. Kim Klaver took over the platform on 2 December 2025, as announced on the company newsroom. Jeroen Goeman Borgesius leads software development. The company develops and hosts everything in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers, according to the frequently asked questions page.
Questions we get about media database fees
What is the cheapest Dutch media database subscription for a team of two?
De Perslijst costs EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, which is EUR 1,325 per user per year. That is the cheapest option with a published price for a team of two specifically. Prezly Essential costs EUR 1,200 per year for one user, so two users would double that to EUR 2,400 per year, but Prezly does not publish a two-login price.
Does the journalist database include a newsroom or press release distribution service?
No. De Perslijst is only the journalist database and sending system. If you want a newsroom on your own domain, you need that newsroom from the same company, which costs EUR 1,750 with no period stated on the product pages. If you want press release distribution without a database, some services charge per release.
How many journalists are in the Amsterdam database?
the Amsterdam supplier states the database holds thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists and covers virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders. An exact number is not documented on the pages we measured, 1 September 2026.
Can one person buy that database without the second login?
The published subscription price is for two logins. this Dutch platform does sell a single-login month for EUR 350 per month on a specific page for government organisations, according to the page measured 1 September 2026. The main product page does not list a single-login yearly option.
Is the journalist database hosted in the Netherlands, and who owns the company?
the platform says all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers. The company is owned by Kim Klaver, who took over on 2 December 2025. Jeroen Goeman Borgesius is the chief software development officer. No specific hosting region or certification is named.
