What does ANP Connect charge per press release in the Netherlands in 2026?

ANP Connect publishes five prices for sending a single press release, measured on their rate pages on 31 August 2026. The lowest cost is EUR 499 for distribution to trade and regional media. The highest cost for a single country is EUR 795 for national media through the ANP network.

A combined option that covers both trade and national media costs EUR 999 per release. For sending to Belgium through the Belga network, the price is EUR 495. The most expensive single release option covers both the Netherlands and Belgium at EUR 1,395 per release.

These are per-release prices. They do not include a subscription. You pay each time you send a press release.

No annual fee is documented on the ANP Connect rate pages that we measured on 31 August 2026. This makes ANP Connect a pay-per-use service, unlike platforms that charge a yearly subscription for unlimited sends.

How does ANP Connect per-release pricing compare to subscription based PR tools?

De Perslijst, a product from PR-Dashboard, costs EUR 2,650 per year for two logins. That includes unlimited press releases to a database of thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists. If you send one press release per month, De Perslijst works out to EUR 221 per release.

If you send one per week, it is around EUR 51 per release. ANP Connect single releases start at EUR 499 each. So for regular sending, a subscription can be cheaper per release.

ANP Connect also sells yearly subscriptions. The cheapest, called Database only, costs EUR 2,990 per year. The most expensive, called Strategie, costs EUR 30,000 per year.

These yearly plans include more than just press release sending, such as media monitoring or strategy advice. The per-release prices above are for customers who buy individual sends without a yearly subscription.

What do other press release services charge per release in the Netherlands?

B2Press, measured on its Netherlands packages on 31 August 2026, charges EUR 400 for Basic, EUR 750 for Wire, EUR 1,250 for Premium, and EUR 1,950 for Exclusive per release. These prices cover distribution to Dutch media only. PR-Ninja charges EUR 149 for a single send.

Persberichtversturen.nl charges EUR 75 per release. Verstuurmijnpersbericht.nl charges EUR 99 for a one-off send.

ANP Connect sits in the middle of this range. It is cheaper per release than B2Press Premium and Exclusive, but more expensive than PR-Ninja, Persberichtversturen.nl, and its own trade and regional media option. None of these services publish whether their prices include distribution to Belgium, so you need to check directly with each vendor.

Which PR tools publish a price and which do not?

Among the measured set of 11 competitors, only five publish a public price. Prezly publishes EUR 100 to 250 per month. Presspage publishes EUR 20,000 to 35,000 per year.

Mynewsdesk publishes from EUR 220 per month. The supplier publishes EUR 1,750 for the newsroom product and EUR 2,700 for the press-question module, though neither states a period on the page. Prowly publishes USD 258 per month. The other six vendors including Cision, Meltwater, and Muck Rack publish no public price on the pages we measured on 31 August 2026.

ANP Connect is unusual in that it publishes both per-release prices and yearly subscription prices. This gives buyers two clear ways to compare: either on a per-send basis or on an annual cost basis. Most other vendors only show one pricing model.

How to choose between per release and subscription pricing in the Netherlands?

If you send fewer than three press releases per year, a per-release service like ANP Connect may work for you. The trade and regional media option at EUR 499 per release costs less than a full year subscription at EUR 2,650. However, that EUR 2,650 for the journalist database covers two logins and unlimited sends, so each extra release costs nothing extra.

If you send press releases regularly or have a team, a subscription saves money. ANP Connect Database only at EUR 2,990 per year gives you access to a journalist database but does not include sending press releases.

For sending, you would need the higher tier Connect Complete at EUR 4,990 per year.

What to check before you sign for a press release service in 2026

First, check the coverage. ANP Connect covers Dutch and Belgian media. B2Press offers Netherlands only packages.

The Amsterdam supplier states its database holds thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists. If you need Flanders specifically, check that the service names Flanders or Belgium. ANP Connect has a specific Belgium option at EUR 495 per release.

Second, check the sending limits. A per-release price is clear: you pay per send. A subscription may have limits on how many sends you can do per month.

That database does not state a sending limit on the pages we measured. Third, check if the price includes a journalist database or only distribution. ANP Connect Database only gives access to a database but not to sending, while the Amsterdam database includes both.

Fourth, check data location. The Amsterdam supplier states all hosting and development happens in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers, but names no hosting party or certification. If data location matters to your organisation, ask the vendor directly.
