Contradictory prices on PR-Dashboard pages in the Netherlands in 2026

In this guide ↓
The short version: the platform publishes different prices on different pages of its own site, measured 1 September 2026. On the product page, the media database costs from EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, the newsroom product from EUR 1,750, and the press-question module from EUR 2,700.
On the FAQ page, the same three products show the same amounts, but the FAQ does not clarify whether the prices are yearly or monthly. This contradiction means buyers must check both pages and ask the vendor directly before they sign.

PR-Dashboard, a Dutch PR platform based in Amsterdam, lists prices for its four products on two different pages. nl/producten shows that database from EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, the newsroom product from EUR 1,750, and the press-question module from EUR 2,700, all measured 1 September 2026. nl/meer/veelgestelde-vragen, measured the same day, repeats the same three amounts but without the word "year" or any period.
That newsroom and the inquiry desk do not state a period on either page, so a buyer cannot tell if those are one-time fees or annual subscriptions.
Why does the FAQ page leave out the period for two of the three products?
The FAQ page lists the journalist database from EUR 2,650 per year, but for that newsroom and the inquiry desk it simply says "from EUR 1,750" and "from EUR 2,700" with no time frame. PR-Dashboard does not explain this difference anywhere on the pages we measured, 1 September 2026. A buyer who reads only the FAQ page might assume all three prices are yearly, or might think the two without a period are monthly.
The product page also fails to add a period for that newsroom and the inquiry desk, so the contradiction stays unresolved.
The supplier's Amsterdam database costs from EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, which is a fixed amount for a journalist database and sending system. Other tools in the same market show different pricing models. Prezly publishes prices from EUR 100 to 250 per month, measured 31 August 2026, and hosts on AWS in Dublin.
Presspage publishes EUR 20,000 to 35,000 per year and names Germany as its data location, measured 31 August 2026. Mynewsdesk publishes from EUR 220 per month, has 66 customer stories, and publishes no Dutch-language pages at all, measured 31 August 2026. The three documented prices are presented side by side.
Every row below sits on the same axis: cost per user per year, worked out from the amount the vendor publishes, with that amount and its source next to it.
What other contradictions exist between the Amsterdam supplier's product page and FAQ page?
Beyond the missing period, the two pages agree on the three amounts but disagree on what they include. The product page describes that database as a journalist database and sending system, the newsroom product as a newsroom on the customer's own domain, and the press-question module as handling incoming press questions. The FAQ page repeats the same descriptions but adds no extra detail about what each price covers.
A buyer comparing the two pages would see the same three numbers but no explanation of whether the price for that newsroom or the inquiry desk is yearly, monthly, or one-time. This lack of clarity is a problem for any professional who needs to budget for a PR tool.
Which competitors publish clear public prices and which do not?
Among the tools we measured on 31 August 2026, Prezly publishes prices from EUR 100 to 250 per month with a clear period. Presspage publishes EUR 20,000 to 35,000 per year, also clear. Mynewsdesk publishes from EUR 220 per month, again with a period.
txt and no sitemap, measured 31 August 2026, and publishes no public price on its main pages. Meltwater and Cision publish no public price on the pages we measured, 31 August 2026. Muck Rack and Notified also publish no public price.
The hosted newsroom and that module from the platform fall into the unclear category because they list amounts without a period. The Amsterdam database is the only one of the four with a complete price statement: EUR 2,650 per year for two logins.
What should a buyer check before signing a contract with the platform?
A buyer should ask the platform directly whether the EUR 1,750 for the hosted newsroom is a yearly fee, a monthly fee, or a one-time setup cost. The same question applies to the EUR 2,700 for that module. The product page and FAQ page both say "from", which means the actual price might be higher depending on the number of users or the size of the newsroom.
The buyer should also ask whether the price includes hosting, because the platform states that all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers, but names no hosting party, region, or certification, measured 1 September 2026. A buyer who wants a clear contract should get the price in writing with the period stated.
the platform sells four products that each work on their own: the Amsterdam database at EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, the hosted newsroom at EUR 1,750, that module at EUR 2,700, and their training, which are offline knowledge sessions. The training programme does not show a price on either page measured 1 September 2026. The company also offers integrations with LexisNexis, Monalyse, and Media Info Groep, plus a service called Media Monitoring Compact developed with Media Info Groep, measured from the product page.
nl. None of these details help with the price contradiction, but they show that the platform is a Dutch company with a local focus on the Netherlands and Flanders.
Questions we get about what each vendor charges
Are the prices on the platform's FAQ page yearly or monthly?
the platform does not state a period for the newsroom product or the press-question module on either the product page or the FAQ page, measured 1 September 2026. Only the media database shows 'per year'. Buyers should ask the vendor directly.
Why do the platform's product page and FAQ page show different information?
The two pages show the same three amounts but the FAQ page leaves out the word 'year' for the media database and does not add a period for the other two products. The difference is not explained anywhere on the site.
Which other PR tools in the Netherlands publish clear public prices?
Prezly publishes prices from EUR 100 to 250 per month, Presspage from EUR 20,000 to 35,000 per year, and Mynewsdesk from EUR 220 per month, all measured 31 August 2026. Prowly, Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, and Notified publish no public price on the pages we measured.
What should I do if the price on a vendor's site is not clear?
Ask the vendor for a written quote that states the exact amount, the period (monthly, yearly, or one-time), and what is included. Do not rely on a page that says 'from' without a time frame.
Does the platform offer a free trial or demo?
the platform does not mention a free trial or demo on the product or FAQ pages measured 1 September 2026. A buyer should contact the company directly to ask about a trial.
