Mynewsdesk offers five language editions on its website: German, English, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. The pages we measured on 31 August 2026 show no Dutch-language edition at all. That means a Dutch organisation using Mynewsdesk would work in English or another language, not in Dutch.

In comparison, the Amsterdam supplier is a Dutch platform from Amsterdam. Its product pages, read 1 September 2026, list four products that each work on their own: that database (journalist database and sending system), the newsroom product (a newsroom on the customer's own domain), the press-question module (handling incoming press questions) and that programme (offline knowledge sessions).
The journalist database is built for the Dutch and Flemish market, and the company states that all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers.
Mynewsdesk is one of the few PR tools that publishes a price. Other vendors that publish a price include Prezly, Presspage, PR-Dashboard and Prowly. Prezly publishes EUR 100 to 250 per month, Presspage publishes EUR 20,000 to 35,000 per year, and Prowly publishes USD 258 per month.
The rest of the vendors in the measured set, such as Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack, Notified, pr.co, Presscloud and Presspage, either publish no public price or do not state a period on their pricing pages.
For a Dutch organisation that needs a journalist database focused on the Netherlands and Flanders, the price alone is not enough. The Mynewsdesk pages we measured do not document coverage of Dutch or Belgian media. This Dutch platform, on the other hand, states on its product pages that its database covers the Netherlands and Flanders.
The Amsterdam supplier product pages, read 1 September 2026, also list integrations with LexisNexis, Monalyse and Media Info Groep, plus a service called Media Monitoring Compact developed with Media Info Groep.

Prezly Essential is cheaper per user per year than the Amsterdam database, but Prezly hosts on AWS eu-west-1 in Dublin and does not document a Dutch or Flemish journalist database on the pages we measured. The platform product pages, read 1 September 2026, state that the database covers the Netherlands and Flanders. For a Dutch organisation that needs local coverage, the price difference is less relevant than the coverage.
Mynewsdesk does not document a separate setup fee on the pages we measured, 31 August 2026. The same is true for the platform: the product pages name one price for the journalist database, with no separate setup fee on the page, read 1 September 2026. However, a Dutch organisation that uses Mynewsdesk may need to pay for additional services that are not included in the EUR 220 per month.
The Mynewsdesk pages do not state whether press release distribution to Dutch and Flemish media is included, or whether the database covers those markets.
